Rowan University, Boyd Recital Hall Alterations
Rowan University needed to bring renewed aesthetics and acoustics to their Boyd Recital Hall for performance and educational learning. KAVI Construction was able to successfully out bid several other general contractors for the project. The project was fast tracked all work including submittals, construction, punch list, and turnover had to be completed in just less than 3 weeks. With a clearly defined action plan, KAVI Construction was able to turn the project over on time and within budget. Scope of work included but was not limited to new flooring installation, refinishing of the existing performance stage, new plyboo acoustical panels, and painting throughout.

Rowan University, Campbell’s Library, Reception Renovation
Rowan University was looking to increase student and work flow through their entry corridor while creating more a welcoming and brightly lit space. KAVI Construction’s services were contracted to install specialty recessed lighting as well as a decorative, state of art LED cove lighting system to bring a warm ambiance to the space. KAVI Construction fabricated and installed a custom millwork reception desk constructed of stained wood veneer and sill stone countertops. The scope of work also included painting, floating acoustic ceiling system, and flooring.

Mathnasium
A private entrepreneur was looking to establish a learning center in the Mount Laurel, NJ area to work with students who may be struggling with their math studies. KAVI Construction was contracted to provide a construction budget, design/building drawings, and final construction/renovation of an existing tenant space. The scope of work included but was not limited to the demolition of the existing space, new wall construction as per the specified floor plan, custom finishes throughout, and new HVAC roof top unit with modified ductwork.

Rowan University, Savitz Hall Admission Office Upgrade
Looking to incorporate more privacy for both the work staff and student population, Rowan University selected KAVI Construction to complete the construction related to this fast paced project. The project had to be completed over the student winter break as to limit impact on both the students and work staff. KAVI Construction procured a long lead time of all materials and supplies before the start of construction; the project was executed within a 3 week window from start to finish. Scope of work consisted of but was not limited to new finishes, new wall partitions, high density acoustical ceiling tile, new LED lighting, and decorative 3 form wall panels.

Rowan University – Pet Therapy Center
Looking to expand their Pet Therapy program for students throughout the campus, Kavi Construction LLC., was awarded this job and tasked with reaching completion within six weeks, including creating an outdoor area for pets to be walked and run around. The project consisted of converting an existing storage room into a functional pet therapy space, which included new epoxy flooring, new underground plumbing, new custom millwork, light fixtures, and acoustical clouds to dampen any sound issue(s). Kavi Construction also provided and installed a custom green screen fencing to create a private outdoor area for pets. A new custom ADA ramp was also added to ensure the space was accessible to all.
